BIOGRAPHY

2Fabiola is a project formed by producer Patrick Claessen (aka Pat Krimson) and singer Zorah Aït-Fath. Later on dancer Fabio joined the formation. Pat had already been active in the dance scene for a while, he released tracks under the “Hype & Krimson” project (together with Jef Vanbokrijk). In 1989 he started as a guitarist for the popband Leopold 3, named after the king of Belgium at that time. Leopold 3 became one of the biggest popgroups Belgium has ever seen. When they stopped in 1993, Pat Krimson returned to the dance scene. One of the projects he dedicated his time to was 2Fabiola, this time named after the Queen of Belgium. So it is safe to say Belgian Royalty had a huge influence on Mr. Krimson!

2 Fabiola conquered clubs and charts all over Europe during the mid-90’s. Their first single “Milky Way” already turned heads, but it was “Play this Song” that really put 2 Fabiola on the map. The track dominated dancefloors everywhere and even hit the charts in Italy and Spain. Their follow-up “Lift U up” also did extremely good and even went up to the N°1 position in the Ultratop 50. From then on, they released hit single after hit single. Who doesn’t know “I’m on fire”, “Freak Out”, “Magic Flight” and “Flashback”? With that last one they had many international licenses, even in Japan. In Belgium , 2 Fabiola sold over 52.000 units of their “Tyfoon” album.

Pat Krimson and Zohra were absolute trendsetters : their clothes, their look, their sound, their live act : 2 Fabiola kept re-inventing themselves! As was to be expected, many dance groups with a similar sound and look surfaced, trying to benefit from the new dance-hype. But 2 Fabiola stayed “Often imitated, never duplicated”. Pat Krimson and Zohra remained at the forefront of the Belgian dance movement for many years.

After “Magic Flight”, Fabio left the group. 2 Fabiola had some more hits with, like “Brothers and Sisters” and “Feel the Vibe”. In the meantime both Pat and Zohra invested in their solo projects. A little later, Zohra decided to focus for 100% on her solo career and also profiled herself as a DJ. She was replaced by talented singer Evy Goffin aka Medusa. Afterwards she became the front lady of Lasgo! The new crew was introduced to the audience on the TMF/MTV awards (the Belgian equivalent of the MTV awards) in 1999. 2Fabiola released 2 more singles and then seized its activity..

Pat scored a few more big hits with his “Nunca”project and several solo releases before moving to Ibiza with his girlfriend, Milk Inc’s singer Ann Vervoort. On Ibiza, he founded a new label, opened a club, invested in wellness and several other projects.

On the 2nd of july 2007, Pat Krimson announced the resurrection of 2Fabiola. That summer they launched their first “new” single “Straight to the top”, for which Pat had the Australian singer Katie Michaelson flewn in. The single, accompanied by a smashing video clip, made it to the top 30 in Belgium, got them several big promo gigs on national TV and a lot of attention down under and in several Asian countries.

2008… and 2 Fabiola is once again a 100% Belgian act, this time Pat Krimson even takes on 2 ladies! The two sizzling singers, Loredana and Viola have impressive vocal chords and an enormous presence on stage…
2 Fabiola was headliner on the “I love the 90’s” party in the Ethias Arena in Hasselt, which had no less than 21500 visitors! And their “We love the 90’s” track became the theme song of this huge event!

In may 2008 they launched their new single “Blow me away” which was again accompanied by a video clip. The track enjoyed many weeks in de Ultratop charts and the act was asked to feature several times on the famous “10 om te zien” summer TV show. Later on, in october, 2 Fabiola was special guest on the prestigious TMF awards. The act gave a smashing performance and the thousands of visitors all went bezerk. On top of all that, 2 Fabiola is one of the most booked acts of 2008.

2008 was a wonderful year for 2 Fabiola, but 2009 is going to be even better! The new single is on its way, they are putting together a new show and have several exiting surprises coming up. So that’s plenty of reason for you to book 2 Fabiola for your event, party or festival.
